How is Business?

Postby Ken Clarke » Thu Dec 16, 2010 9:18 am

Hi Everyone, it would be good to hear how you are all coping during these 'tough times'.
I have not found a great deal of difference so far.
It would be good to hear from any guys or gals in the States.
Have a good Xmas everyone.
Ken. :D

So there have been 99 views of this post, yet no one replied to Ken's initial message.

I have been very grateful to HOST and our community of professional cleaners. I too would like to see more of us share ideas. I will do my best to be a regular contributor to this forum.

As for business -- we are in the winter months here in the North Central portion of the US. Business has slowed since the snow has been flying. What I speculate is that many people do not want to clean their carpets in the middle of winter only to have them resoiled with the dirty thaw of spring.

On the positive side, I can promote the moisture control cleaning method we provide is not susceptible to frozen equipment during frigid temperatures (unlike some stories I have heard about the 'big rig' wet method cleaners). We don't leave our customers to deal with steamed up windows in a closed up home as well.

You can find me on Facebook -- keyword: The Dry Carpet Guy
or visit my website -- www.drycarpetguy.com
or see my listing as the preferred carpet cleaner of the Minnesota Home Talk Radion Group. I am mentioned on several podcasts at 1500 AM radio in the Twin Cities, USA. Visit that website for my listing as well as my preferred partners -- www.mnhometalk.com

Take care and good luck!!
