"Haitian Cotton"

Postby grahamt » Sun May 29, 2011 5:42 pm

Hi everyone,

I've noticed the forum has been a little quiet lately, so thought i would try and spark a little discussion.
"Haitian Cotton" is the subject. I have read a little about it, I have never seen it and have never been asked to clean it, however I always believe in being prepared, so my question is:
" Can it be cleaned using HOST products?"
"if so what process should be used, and what results could be expected to obtain a satisfactory result?"

Kind Regards,
Graham

Graham,

You are right, the forum has been quiet - here's proof - I am answering months after your post. However, I think you will begin to see an increase in traffic as we just completed our professional cleaners conference and I am seeing more action on the forum.

As far as Haitian cotton - it cannot be cleaned with HOST products, however it can be cleaned with the Aridex Dry Upholstery Cleaning System using the Haitian cotton detergent. This detergent is specially formulated so that their is no risk of causing any bleeding of the seeds that are found in the weave of the fabric.
