HOST® SJ
HOST® SJ contains a balanced blend of water and green cleaning chemistry with reduced VOCs. As the low moisture HOST SJ is brushed through the carpet, the micro-sponges deep-clean-extract by dissolving, trapping and removing spots, spills, sticky water soluble soil and greasy oily dirt. HOST SJ holds and controls the cleaning liquids, so dissolved dirt doesn’t run into the carpet backing or grout/textured floor indents. After vacuuming up the HOST SJ, flooring is clean, dry and back in service. HOST is natural, non-toxic, biodegradable and safer for people and pets.

*The HOST System of applying HOST SJ to the carpet, brushing it through the carpet and then vacuuming up the HOST cleaner removes dirt and reduces allergens. Research studies have shown that one cleaning with the HOST System using HOST machines reduces: Dust mites by 78%; Dust Mite Allergen by 75%; Cat Allergen by 85%; Mold Spores by 85%. How To Use

Vacuum and pile lift carpet thoroughly with the HOST Liberator or Freestyle before applying HOST SJ. The more carpet vacuuming you do, the better the results.

Apply HOST SJ to the carpet, about one fist size for each square yard (3′ x 3′). Do not apply more than 30 square feet at a time or the HOST SJ could dry out and not clean as well. For the HOST Applicator, place HOST SJ into the applicator and choose light or medium setting. Then guide the HOST Applicator over the area to be cleaned. As it rolls, it dispenses the chosen amount of micro-sponges. NOTE: Do not use the heavy setting on the HOST Applicator with HOST SJ.

Work HOST into the soiled area using the suitable HOST equipment or brush, using brushing strokes in a north and south, east and west and then north and south direction. Do not over brush the area. This brushing action distributes the HOST micro-sponges and brings them in contact with the dirty surfaces of what you are cleaning.

Immediately vacuum damp HOST SJ from carpet with the HOST Liberator or Freestyle only, do not use a conventional vacuum. NOTE: If an area requires more cleaning, repeat steps 2 and 3 or consider pretreating using a mist of PREP® or Spot Remover. Then apply more HOST SJ and clean as before. Depending on the fiber and conditions you are cleaning, you may need to use HOST Dry Extraction Cleaner and Spot Remover as the pre-mist.
